another book written by mitch albom that caught my sight while browsing the youngpung bookstore near gangnam, seoul last sunday. I had seen this title several times earlier, but they were all in hard cover which meant more expensive (around more than 20000 won). but this time, it was in paper back edition, so I just closed my eyes, dragged the book (along with the tipping point and two manhwas) to cashier and used my bc card to pay them all.. I just love books (sometimes too much)..
the stories by mitch albom are always heart warming. first I read his book, tuesday with morrie because the explanation on the back cover just moved me to do so. and it did give me enlightment during one of the hardest time of my life, after a ’silent’ fight with a very close friend of mine. his second book, the five people you meet in heaven served as a notice that your life affected and also was affected by the life of people around you.
for his last book, entitled for one more day, it is dealt with lost love and self anger that lead to total destruction. however, with the love of the one you loved, you could save your own life and also treasured to some extend. sometimes you made mistakes, but it is never too late to put things back, to correct things with the one you love..
"have you ever lost someone you love and wanted one more conversation,
one more chance to make up for the time when you thought they would be
there forever? if so, then you know you can go your life collecting
days, and none will outweight the one you wish you had back."
this just gives me the shivers… do I have that chance?
