it’s a special delivery from paris in courtesy of houari (actually, he was on a trip back from morocco that took him for a transit in paris where he asked me if I would like an edition of tintin). 

the book is in the hard cover format with good and quite glossy paper inside.  and each book came with a special bonus: a standing silhoutte of one of six characters appears through out the tintin adventures, from tintin and snowy, captain haddock, bianca castafiore, thom(p)son, prof. calculus and nestor.  so now I have a thom(p)son running on a mac G4 next to me, ha ha ha…

a quick catch up of what I left behind recently (and I still missed some stories too, geez!).  they are about my part time as an english tutor, a french edition of tintin in the land of black gold from houari, a cloudy saturday, and trip to seoul visiting the starwars exhibition and ended with a dinner in kist with onit and beni.

it was another fun trip to seoul to visit the starwars: science and art exhibition held in coex convention center in gangnam area, seoul, rep. of korea.

we went there by the four of us: me, beny, danu (indonesian friend from icu) and gyu seung (korean class mate) and had a very good time that even the three standing and walking hours we spent inside the exhibition was spent without any notice that we were THAT long..  too bad that I had to save the hard earned cash here, so I could afford to buy the genuine starwars merchandise (although the light saber is indeed TOO expensive -> 250 000 won ~ 2,5 million rupiah each..)

after took a quite long hiatus, finally I managed to put them back again..  sorry for the delay, it’d been another tough month with an approaching deadline -and too many ground to cover-, moody feelings that end up in a disaster -I lost my ‘precious’ but also happy things around: at least I sent a bday package to indonesia and another trip to seoul to see the starwars exhibition there (see the next post).
