your heart will lead you home

sunny days and starry nights
lazy afternoons
you count the castles in the clouds
and hum little tunes

but somehow right before your eyes
the sun fades away
everything is different
and everything has change

if you feel lost and on your own
and far from home
you never alone, you know

just think of your friends
the ones who care
they all will be waiting there
with love to share
and your heart will lead you home

funny how a photograph can take you back in time
to places and embraces
that you thought you left behind

they’re trying to remind you
that you’re not the only one
that no one is an island
when all has said and done

there’ll come a day when you’re losing your way
and you won’t know where you belong
they say that home is where your heart is
so follow your heart know that you can’t go wrong

sung by kenny loggins as one of the tigger the movie ost

once I recommended this song for a friend of mine who began her long distance experience far for home (actually it wasn’t THAT far since nowadays it only takes around two hours to reach it  ^^;; ) and gave the whole movie as a gift later on.

and it turned out that this song now is the one that I listened daily.  may be because it is near the long journey in this faraway land?  may be because I do miss my friend back home?

whatever it is, the song does calm the heart just what I felt whenever I listen to morning glory and home by ban-chan :-)

for a friend somewhere downthere, do you still listen to this song, too..? :-)

I had a dream…

October 14th, 2007 by hafizsan

last night, I had a dream..

it was dawn
we sat by an open veranda
side by side
me and her

we just did what we used to do
long long time ago
talking
exchange stories
about many unimportant things
and that was fun

its her who talked much
while I was being the good listener
as I always did
long long time ago
and that was fun

and I woke up
I just pray for the almighty
for giving that chance
at least one more time

we have many friends in our live.  and with each friend, we shares something special.  a unique chemistry that would only happened between us and that one particular friend.  no other friend could fill the same chemistry, since each is unique and special.

that what makes each friend so special that we treasure it so much..

and that what makes it hurt so bad whenever we lost one..

The white clouds are blurred in the faded bIue
It’s the color of that distant day
In the depths of my heart
Lies a pain I hide from everyone
The words on which I pledged my all
Are now in the distant past

In the days since you’ve gone
You still give me warmth
The light iluminated your voice… your form

If possible
I’ll live in a way that my voice will reach you
No matter where you are
The sound echoes distantIy
From those sun-baked rails
It’s the voice of that day

Even now, the promised place exists
Beyond those clouds

I don’t know since when, but solitude surrounds me
And my heart creaks under the strain
I’m certain that as time passes I will lose you

Your hair…
A world in which the clouds and the sky melt
It is full of mysteries

Your voice…
Gentle fingers and skin that caught the wind
It bolsters my heart
The light illuminated your voice… your form

If possible
Though we live in different worlds
I want to live kind and strong

finally, F1 live! :D

September 30th, 2007 by hafizsan

Untitled1it’s been a long time since my last F1 live through tv back in indonesia in october 2005.  and today, with the aid of the latest technology, broadband connection (thanks korea :D) and a borrowed laptop from houari, F1 live is back!

actually today is my 3rd time trying, with the 1st and 2nd attempts were failed due some low bandwidth.  so I could only watch the match by the live timing feature on the official formula 1 website.  and what a feeling, looking that action packed stuff on a wet condition :D

internet is awsome :))

english translation

That innocent look you put up on your face
sometimes when you are asleep
Was the sight of love I have seen
Every single moment in my life,
I kept pressing the shutter so that I won’t forget,
My heart was filled with bittersweet happiness

Just, loving you
Just, loving you
Just, loving you
I wish that was all it was

That kiss we exchanged the rain was
The sight of two of us linking together
This feeling that we will never feel again,
I can’t explain it well, but
My days have began to shine ever since I met you

Just, loving you
Just, loving you
Just, loving you
It’s the happiness you have given me

Just, loving you
Just, loving you
Just, loving you
I wish that was all it was

photos from seoul charafair 2007

July 30th, 2007 by hafizsan

Charafair045last sunday was another trip to seoul, this time for visiting seoul character fair 2007.  the original plan was to include hou2ari and femmy as the party members.  however, very early in the morning on the d-day, hou2ari canceled the trip, so it was just me and femmy who finally went to the charafair.

the photos of what inside the fair could be seen here.  it quite many photos, but since I had attended last year fair, several booths that presenting the same characters were not on the list for the photos.  and it was femmy who busied herself taking pictures with various costumed charas such as cookie monster, pink panther, etc (though she missed the doraemon :P).  we had funny story too at the end of the trip, but it will be another posting..

get back to work again.  creating a romantic storyline is seriously DIFFICULT!

one more time one more chance

July 30th, 2007 by hafizsan

Byousoku5cm_035

How much more do I have to lose, before my heart is forgiven?

How many more pains do I have to suffer, to meet you once again?
One more time, oh seasons, fade not
Byousoku5cm_036One more time, when we were messing around

Whenever we disagreed, I would always give in first
Your selfish nature made me love you even more
One more chance, the memories restrain my steps
One more chance, I cannot choose my next destination

I’m always searching, for your figure to appear somewhere
On the opposite platform, in the windows along the lane
Even though I know you couldn’t be at such a place
If my wish were to come true, I would be at your side right away
There would be nothing I couldn’t do
I would put everything on the line and hold you tight

If I just wanted to avoid loneliness, anybody would have been enough.
Because the night looks like the stars will fall, I cannot lie to myself.
One more time, oh seasons, fade not.
One more time, when we were messing around

I’m always searching, for your figure to appear somewhere
At a street crossing, in the midst of dreams
Even though I know you couldn’t be at such a place
If a miracle were to happen here, I would show you right away
The new morning, who I’ll be from now on
And the words I never said: “I love you.”

The memories of summer are revolving
The throbbing which suddenly disappeared

I’m always searching, for your figure to appear somewhere
At dawn on the streets, at Sakuragi-cho
Even though I know you couldn’t be at such a place
If my wish were to come true, I would be at your side right away
There would be nothing I couldn’t do
I would put everything on the line and hold you tight

I’m always searching, for fragments of you to appear somewhere
At a traveller’s store, in the corner of newspaper,
Even though I know you couldn’t be at such a place
If a miracle were to happen here, I would show you right away
The new morning, who I’ll be from now on
And the words I never said: “I love you.”

I always end up looking for your smile, to appear somewhere
At the railroad crossing, waiting for the express to pass
Even though I know you couldn’t be at such a place
If our lives could be repeated, I would be at your side every time
I would want nothing else
Besides you, nothing else matters

lyrics from ‘byousoku 5cm’ theme song, by masayoshi yamazaki.  originally found from http://www.pireze.org/blog/?p=232

I kinda like this song when first heard it when watching the part one of the movie directed by makoto shinkai.  yesterday, after finally found the subtitle version from the net, the song did struck my head again.  it appeared in the final story, to conclude the whole love story between akari and takaki  when they were junior high school students and then get separated by the distance.  while most of the conclusion was told using various cut scenes and flashbacks, the song provided just the right lyrics to represent the whole story behind..

"If our lives could be repeated, I would be at your side every time.  I would want nothing else. Besides you, nothing else matters.."

from book art fair in seoul

June 4th, 2007 by hafizsan

Bookart013last week end, I was lucky enough to visit seoul international book fair at coex.  among many interesting book being showcased (and of course sold) there, I liked one of the section that showcased what they called book art.

basically it is like an art of making a book, but the outcome itself is very beautiful (as you can see in the photo on the left).

I took quite a lot pics from that area (and mostly the exhibitors put a do not take pictures sign), and you can see them, at this page: http://hafizsan.multiply.com/photos/album/78
